Why Natural Solutions? Why doTERRA?

Interestingly, I am writing this from doTERRA’s Global Covention in Salt Lake City, Utah; where I have had the pleasure of sharing a mansion on the foothills of the mountains, with six of the most uniquely amazing women I am fortunate to have come to know. Who would have thought?

A little over a year and a half ago, I enrolled in doTERRA as a Wellness Advocate and purchased my first kit of oils that also came with a diffuser. I was incredibly proud of my decision, as you can note by the Instagram picture I documented the moment with. It was a big decision, not only to move forward with natural alternatives to my health and wellness options; especially considering a health scare is what first led me to exploring essential oils. It was also a big decision because two of my best friends used two different companies, of which I struggled to choose between.

DoTERRA pulled through as a winner for many reasons; one being how merciful my friends were in answering the million questions I had. However, the most prominent reasons were their commitment to a quality standard and science behind their oils that we refer to as Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade (CPTG for short), their ethical co-impact sourcing partnerships with cultural regions all around the world where the plants used for the oils are naturally found (86% of our inventory), and their philanthropic efforts to truly make a difference and improve this world. These are simply just a few of the reasons, as I could literally go on and on at this point.

Changing the world one drop, one person, one community at a time.

It wasn’t until about 6 months into sharing oils with people I knew, that a couple friends stepped forward and decided they wanted to begin sharing oils as well. Taking control of my health and detoxifying my environment was something I was absolutely sure about, building a business through sharing the oils was not. Yet, the crazy thing is that I felt compelled to tell everyone about them anyways, and I am passionate about their abilities. Why not take a leap of faith in this company with women I love to be around? Really, what did I have to lose? Needless to say, it has been both a wild, fun ride and one of the best decisions that I have ever made.

When you begin to understand the science behind the essential oils, you can begin to understand and accept their efficacy. Nerd Alert: give me all the science, I want to learn and understand everything about the plants! Yet, even with all the information, it’s still about an experience you have with a specific oil that creates an instant believer. Imagine the soothing aroma of lavender after a long day, or the invigorating scent of peppermint to boost you in the middle of the day. Apart from the science, I am also amazed at the history of essential oils and the fact that they can be traced as far back as biblical times, such as Myrrh and Frankincense. Their benefits in healing are nothing new and it is amazing how widespread they are becoming as awareness increases.

I happen to work for a doctor who has an Integrative and Functional Medicine practice. You can imagine my surprise when I was at a summit earlier this year and a presenting doctor began a lecture to include the benefits of using the essential oils with patients? I could have floated right out of my seat, especially as the doctor and owners of the practice for whom I work have been expressing great interest in the doTERRA oils. The icing on the cake for me was the new healthcare initiative that doTERRA is rolling out in an integrative medicine model. This has got to be a sign!

Coming to convention was a game changer, not just in my overall knowledge of the oils themselves, but also my understanding of the company as a whole and the direction they are going. I am proud to be a part of the largest essential oil company in the WORLD and a team that is so full of love and support it makes your heart just beam with happiness! Corny, but true! This company is providing me with another tool in building the life that I have always dreamed. Convention was a triple home run in the sense that I not only got to explore my wellness interests, I have also had the opportunity to travel and see a new state, as well as even get over to the family history library for some ancestry research. Could it have been any more perfect? I seriously don’t know. Apart from fate acting out its plans before my very eyes, I can’t help to go back to what an inspiration my entire team and up-line has been in this experience. We are the Hope Dealers and I appreciate these women immensely.

Its moments like these that I can help but sit back and marvel at the universe and how the stars have the most incredible ability to line up just how they are meant to. I am profoundly grateful to believe with all my soul that the best is yet to come.
